Accreditation

Accreditation in the United States is a voluntary submission to requirements of academic quality, record keeping, and ethical policies. The US government does not accredit schools – the Department of Education (USDE) approves associations which in turn accredit schools. These associations oversee and regulate taxpayer dollars known as, “Title IV Funding.” Institutions who do not receive funds from the federal student aid program do not have to be approved by a governmental accrediting agency.
As a Bible College, CLC’s vision is to equip men and women to fulfill their God given purpose and calling in life, leadership, and service whether that is in ministry or in business. Because our focus is building Christian Leaders, we have selected a non-govermental accrediting agency that does not restrict our Spirit filled program curriculum and instructor qualifications.

Overseeing more than 100 member institutions, including schools, seminaries, universities, colleges and institutes both in the United States and internationally, TACI provides documented evidence of compliance with standards of structure and governance, material resources, policies, faculty and curriculum. This form of ministry accreditation is recognized by many churches and ministry organizations.

CLC is accredited by Transworld Accrediting Commission International. Serving the Christian education community for over 30 years, Transworld is a non-profit church educational organization whose philosophy is to demonstrate accountability to the consuming public for education obtained in non-traditional evangelical education institutions. The acceptance of credits or degrees by other institutions or employers is determined by the institutions themselves. CLC currently has academic partnership agreements (agreements for transferable credits) with Life Christian University, Vanguard University, Hope International University and Life Pacific College. These colleges and universities have evaluated CLC’s curriculum and granted the acceptance of a specific number of transferable units. Information regarding the matriculation agreements may be obtained by contacting the CLC Administration Office.
