Our evening classes are designed for busy and/or working people who want to grow spiritually, draw closer to God, and get a better understanding of the Bible. We offer classes in the following areas: biblical studies, spiritual growth, and ministry development.

How to Read and Understand the Bible

Whether a new believer or a spiritually mature follower of Christ, the Bible can sometimes be difficult to read and even harder to understand. This course will teach you how to read the bible more effectively. By surveying the Bible's origin, history, structure, content, and context, you will develop a broader knowledge of the Bible and a deeper understanding of God’s Holy Word.

A Unique Perspective on Jesus: A Study of the Gospel of John

The Gospel of John offers a unique presentation of who Jesus is. This story of Jesus insists that Jesus can transform someone's life. John presents Jesus as the ultimate spiritual source that people need to live a flourishing human beings in this world. The class centers on intimacy with Jesus as the most crucial goal in the Christian life and the promise of true joy and contentment that comes with it.

Practices for Spiritual Health

God desires more for his children than to be weary and worn out while doing good. He cares for each part of who we are—mind, spirit, and body. Through practical habits discover ways to enhance your spiritual well-being, deepen your relationship with God, and be impactful in the world around you.

Balanced Living: Managing Different Areas of Life for Stability and Fruitfulness

With all the demands that life places on us, it can be easy to get stretched and wind up out of alignment with your life’s purpose and goals. God has designed us to live with rhythms that keep us in harmony with what He has called us to. The practical tools provided in this course will create sound guidelines for work-life, church-life, and home-life balance.

Navigating & Impacting Culture as a Christ Follower

Culture is all around us. Ideas, messages, and ways of seeing the world are seeking to influence our minds and hearts every day. As Christians, We must discern what we should believe and how we should live out our faith this season. This course explores the intersection of our faith and culture. Students will develop a basic biblical understanding of culture while studying a framework for living thoughtfully and faithfully in the complexity of our world.

Developing a Relationship with the Holy Spirit

Many questions are asked about the Holy Spirit: Who is He? How do I receive His guidance, wisdom, and instruction? How do I live a life filled with the Holy Spirit, demonstrating His power, gifts, and fruit? In this class, we will explore how we can have a personal relationship with Him, and answer these questions as we search the scriptures together.

Know What You Believe: A Deeper Look at Romans

When you go to build a house the first thing you construct is the foundation. And when it comes to our relationship with Jesus we too must lay down a foundation of understanding in the fundamentals of His work. Most would argue there is no greater book that better lays this foundation than Paul’s letter to the Romans. So don’t stop at being familiar with terms like sin, grace, and justification, but discover a richer meaning of what Jesus has done for you in the fullness of His gospel work.
